Environ Cosmetic Focus-CIT – Targeted needling for zones a roller cannot reach

The Cosmetic Focus-CIT fills a specific gap in the Environ CIT lineup. The standard Cosmetic Roll-CIT moves across broad facial zones efficiently but cannot navigate the curved, delicate, or anatomically complex areas where some of the most visible signs of ageing concentrate: the fine lines above the upper lip, the periorbital expression lines around the eyes, the vertical glabellar lines between the brows, and the nasolabial folds at the corners of the mouth.

The Focus-CIT’s stamp design allows precise, controlled application to these specific zones without the rolling motion that would be clumsy or potentially abrasive at these sites. Each press creates a brief array of 0.1mm micro-channels that temporarily increase stratum corneum permeability — allowing the immediately applied peptide serums, vitamin A, or targeted treatment products to penetrate significantly deeper than topical application alone achieves.

How 0.1mm needling works

At 0.1mm, the needle length reaches through the stratum corneum and into the viable epidermis without penetrating to the depth of capillaries or nerve endings. This means the process produces no bleeding, no significant erythema, and no meaningful wound-healing response — distinguishing it from in-clinic microneedling. What it does produce is a temporary increase in transdermal permeability: the channels created by the needles allow molecules to bypass the stratum corneum’s diffusion barrier for approximately 2–4 hours after application. During this window, active ingredients applied to the skin surface are delivered at considerably higher concentrations to the deeper epidermis and upper dermis.

It is the most affordable instrument in the range and the best starting point for those new to CIT.

How to use

Cleanse and tone as usual. Apply the Cleaning Solution to the Focus-CIT and allow to dry. On dry skin, stamp gently but firmly onto the target area in a grid pattern — press, lift, move, press again — covering the area systematically rather than dragging across it. Apply your targeted product immediately after. Clean the device thoroughly with Cleaning Solution after each use. Replace every 3–4 months or when needles show any visible wear. Use in the evening only.

Do not use on active acne lesions, open wounds, severe solar keratosis, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea-active skin, raised moles, warts, skin cancer and problematic skin conditions.
