The Dual Action Pre-Cleansing Oil exists for a specific clinical reason: to remove the surface barrier of oil-soluble debris — makeup, sunscreen residue, sebum, pollution particles — before your cleanser works. When this layer isn’t properly addressed, even a well-formulated cleanser can’t fully access the skin’s surface, and subsequent vitamin A moisturisers work against a compromised canvas.

Oil dissolves oil. The Pre-Cleansing Oil uses Hydrogenated Polydecene, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, and Jojoba Seed Oil — a trio of light, non-comedogenic emollients chosen for their ability to bind to oil-soluble impurities and lift them away without sacrificing the skin’s natural lipid layer. Unlike many cleansing oils that leave a heavy residue or disrupt the acid mantle, this formula emulsifies when water is added and rinses off without stripping.

How to use the Dual Action Pre-Cleansing Oil

Apply a small amount to dry skin and massage over the face and neck. Wet your hands and continue massaging — the formula will turn milky as it emulsifies. Rinse with water, then follow immediately with your preferred Environ cleanser (the Mild Cleansing Lotion or Low Foam Cleansing Gel) to remove any remaining traces. Use morning and/or evening as needed.
