The Vita-Complex Super Moisturiser occupies a specific clinical position in the Environ system: it is not a vitamin A product, not a treatment serum, and not a replacement for any step in the AVST or Youth EssentiA routine. It is a supplemental barrier moisturiser, applied over the vitamin A moisturiser, specifically for skin that needs more hydration and lipid nourishment than the vitamin A product alone provides.

This need is most common in three situations: during the early adaptation phase of the AVST step-up, when some degree of dryness and tightness is normal and expected; in inherently dry and mature skin types where lipid production is chronically low; and in perimenopausal skin where declining oestrogen has reduced both sebaceous activity and the skin’s intrinsic capacity for moisture retention.

Vita-Complex Super Moisturiser Key Ingredients and Their Mechanisms

Revidrate™: A next-generation moisture-binding active designed to mimic and reinforce the skin’s natural moisturizing factor (NMF) — the complex of hygroscopic molecules (amino acids, lactates, urea, and pyrrolidone carboxylic acid) that the stratum corneum produces to retain water. Revidrate works by restoring this NMF system in skin where it has been depleted by age, environmental stress, surfactant exposure, or hormonal change — addressing the root cause of chronic surface dehydration rather than simply layering water on top of it.

How to use

After applying your recommended Environ vitamin A moisturiser (AVST 1–5 or Youth EssentiA Defence Crème), apply the Super Moisturiser over it as the final step in your routine. Use morning and/or evening depending on your skin’s needs. In cold weather or air-conditioned environments, evening application provides the most benefit.
